Sofas and CDCs and Twitters, Oh My!

Recent Miscellany:

Kristin's dream of an eight way hand tied, custom upholstered sofa finally came true. "Eight way hand tied" is furniture-speak, which loosely translated means "fancy and expensive." The house looks really snazzy now. Kristin is quite the decorator.

We are currently negotiating on a new studio space, which will (fingers crossed) be a super spiffy upgrade. More details as soon as we work out the details...

You may have noticed Kristin's Twittering going on in the sidebar. She Twitters by the handle of "3BoyMom," and I believe she's going to keep everyone updated on all the craziness associated with running a portrait studio, and raising her family of three boys, two Italian Greyhounds, and one man-child.

I'll be shooting all day at the CDC, where they keep the building colder than a Minnesota Christmas. A warm beverage would be welcome in such conditions, but, alas, CDC coffee is just obscene, like Chock-Full-O-Dreck filtered through lava rock. They do, however, have giant bowls of candy sitting around, with plenty of my favorite Almond Joys. And I always feel like a nut.

The always most-excellent Jeff over at Big Event Media created another fabulous video for us, this one from the 23 Skidoo show at the studio. Have Fun!

The geeky dancing guy may or may not be me...

Okay, it's me, but as 23 said, "Nerd is the new cool."

23 Skidoo!

Light blogging this week, as we've been getting ready for the big show tomorrow with Secret Agent 23 Skidoo. Daily Candy peeped it, as did Nickelodeon Go City Kids.

I just got off the Bat-Phone with 23, and he's bringing down the entire posse: his DJ, a dancer, his wife, and his daughter, Saki (a.k.a. The S to the A to the K to the I).

Kristin also lined up Dance411 to do some break dancing before the show.

VERY excited about this show! Hope to see you all at the studio tomorrow.
